There are a number of these e-mails and they have been going around ever since the battlenet account merger. If you have any doubts about any e-mail you get from Blizzard you should visit their account administration site ( http://us.blizzard.com/support/arti...leId=21500 ) and fill out a web form.
Disclaimer: Keep in mind that these are suggestions, and my opinions. Just because I think they are great, doesn't mean that you have to agree with them. I understand that you may not like any of it, and I'm ok with that... so you have no reason to not be okay with it too :)
