How Team501 Recruitment Works:
 
Once you apply for recruitment by using the recruitment form, a Team501 Officer will mark your recruitment thread as “APPLICATION PENDING”. You’ll need to get a microphone and download Ventrilo to get to know the members of the team. After about a two week period of getting to know you and seeing how you interact with other members we will inform you and mark your post with our recruitment descision.> >
 
Team501 Rules You Should Know:
 
1) Show respect to ALL members on our server and in Ventrilo at all times
2) We only recruit members OLDER than 20
3) When on Ventrilo\Mumble\Teamspeak, do not pester/annoy members in other channels than the game you are playing
 
Violations to the above will result in immediate termination of recruitment and removal from Ventrilo.

Q: How do I apply for recruitment?
A: To apply for clan membership, copy the recruitment form into your post in the recruitment forum.
 
Q: How does the recruitment process work?

Q: How do I join Team501’s Ventrilo? - Vent is no longer used by Team501. We switched to Mumble in October 2011.
A: Join our ventrilo by clicking arrow next to the server row at the top of the program and type in “ventrilo2.holdouts.com” for the server IP and “3828” for the port. You can leave all other fields blank.
 
Q: What is Mumble?
A: Mumble is an open source voice communication application that features a customizable in game overlay, application skins, conversation recording, and advanced voice activity detection. You can download Mumble via http://www.mumble.com/

Q: What happens when I am accepted into the clan?
A: We will inform you roughly two weeks (depending on your activity) after we mark your post as “APPLICATION PENDING” of our recruitment decision. Once your in you will be added to the clan private forums and add our clan tags (501st|) to your name!
 
Q: Does Team501 have an age limit?
A: Yes, we only recruit members older than 20
 
Q: Does Team501 recruit based on skill?
A: No, Team501 recruits based on personality and how well you get along with the rest of the team, not on 1337-ness.
