Windows 7 goes on sale October 22nd

<!-- sphereit start -->

[script removed] [script removed] We knew good and well the next iteration of Windows would be generally available this fall, but now we've a date to circle in our datebooks: October 22nd. Yep, the fourth Thursday in the tenth month of this year will mark the first date in which you -- the general consumer -- can purchase Win7, which gives you plenty of time to figure out which of the 94 variants will suit you best. Have fun!

Well. After a friend of mine installed it and had it running fine on his system i did the same.
It's rather impressive. Getting more FPS in games. More responsive in general. I recommend.

I have it running on our notebook, it rules all kinds of ass. Advenger even formated my little Acer aspire one netbook and put 7 on it. Works like a charm. I may buy an operating system for the first time.

It may be worth it.
You can upgrade for a cheaper price right now. Or just pay 250 and get a technet subscription and get all kinds of software including 7

Not to mention, you get up to 10 licenses to each software, monthly Technet Magazine, online traning and much more. Its almost like stealing from Microsoft w/ all the support.

Been using it for about 3 weeks now. No BSOD. Working smooth.
